Required/Preferred Qualifications

Required: PhD in Nutrition, Biochemistry, Physiology or relevant field required. Strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry.

Preferred: Experience working with animal models and in mammalian cell culture 

Duties/Responsibilities

Full time annually renewable appointment contingent on performance for a total maximum appointment of three years position available immediately to be involved in research on the role and mechanism of adipose-derived factors in the control of inflammation and metabolic homeostasis using transgenic/knockout mouse models as well as cell culture systems.

Postdoctoral Associate Position available in the Food Science and Nutrition Department under the supervision of Dr. Xiaoli Chen.
