About

The Food Science and Nutrition Club at the University of Minnesota started its journey in 1972. Our group is affiliated to the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and has a rare blend of food science and nutrition students, working on various IFT Student Association (IFTSA) activities together and sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.

Our club secured first place in various IFTSA competitions such as Chapter of the Year (1978), Product Development (1992, 1993, 1994) and College Bowl (1994, 2002, 2004). Browse through this site and the club's calendar for more information about the club and its upcoming events and activities.
